1
Name your game
This is the title players see when they join. Use a topic, class, or event (e.g. "Year 6 Science" or "Friday Quiz"). Optional: leave it blank and we'll name it for you.
2
Choose a mode
Solo: everyone joins with one shared code and plays on their own, so scores are per person. Teams: each team gets its own code and members pool their answers to compete as a group. Pick Teams for classrooms or group events, Solo for individual play.
Number of teams
Type how many teams you want. A unique join code is generated for each team when you press Start.
3
Add a question manually
Write your own question, fill in four options, and mark which one is correct. Best for custom or classroom-specific content. You can mix manual questions with generated ones, or skip this and use steps 4 or 5.
4
Generate from categories
Pick one or more topics and we'll pull ready-made questions from the question bank, no writing needed. Tick whole categories or specific subtopics, choose how many questions and the difficulty, then Generate.

Everything you've added or generated lands here. Check each one, edit (✎) to fix wording or answers, or remove (✕) what you don't want. Questions are shuffled into a fresh order every game.
None yet. Add one manually, or generate from categories or AI above.
7
Answer icons
Choose the symbols shown on the four answer buttons players tap: numbers, letters, or fun icons. Purely visual; it doesn't change the questions. Icons work well for younger players who aren't reading yet.
8
Game options
Control how the game plays. The defaults work well for most quizzes, so change them only if you want to.
Reveal correct answer after each question
Show everyone the right answer before moving on, which is great for teaching. Hide it to keep a competitive feel.
Automatic next question
Yes advances on its own when the timer ends. No lets you (the host) control the pace and move on when ready.
Seconds per question (timer)
How long players have to answer each question. During the game you can still pause or add/subtract time.
9
Start, save or reset
Start game launches it now and shows the join code(s) for players. Save quiz (when signed in) keeps this set in "My quizzes" to reuse later. Reset clears everything and starts over.
⚠Reset clears all questions and category selections. You'll be asked to confirm first. This can't be undone.
How it works
Build your question set, choose Solo or Teams, then press Start game to generate join codes. Players enter a code to join. Questions never repeat in a session and are shuffled into a random order each game.
Free plan
Free games are capped at 10 players. The join box enforces the same limit.
Join a game (simulated)
This mimics a player entering a code on their phone. Try a wrong code too.
